Two cookie-decorating classes were were among the recent offerings by the Easton Park and Recreation Department as an after-school activity at Samuel Staples Elementary School.
British baker Alison Luciana of The Great British Cupcake LLC often organizes after-school cookie and cupcake classes to give the young, budding bakers the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents using a food-based medium.
Luciana, who is also the Park and Recreation Department morning secretary, said the children had a wonderful time creating some delicious treats to share with their families.
