Now that additional essential services are permitted in Connecticut, civilian fingerprinting will be available beginning June 16 for pistol permits, employment backgrounds and vendor permits.

The following instructions and procedures were provided by Chief Richard Doyle:

Fingerprinting is only open to Easton residents, and non-residents applying for an employment background check for a business based in Easton or a vending permit from the town of Easton.

Appointments can be made by calling 203-268-4111.

  • Tuesdays , 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Please be on time for your appointment and do not enter building. When you arrive, call the police department and you will receive instructions on where and when to enter the building. All fingerprinting applicants must wear a mask while inside the Easton Police Department. Make sure all your paperwork is filled out completely and accurately.
