A note on the Easton website shows that service has been restored. “We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding,” the message states.

Earlier this afternoon, town officials posted a message that they are working diligently to restore to internet and phone services to Town Hall, the Easton Public Library, ER9 Central Office and Senior Center. Updates will be posted to the home page of www.eastonct.gov website.

E-notifications will also go out to subscribers to Easton town news. At this time, it appears the public may still be able to send emails, but town officials and staff are unable to retrieve them. Phone lines are not open to leave messages.

“Rest assured, we will respond to your needs as soon as possible,” the message states. “We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you posted as updates become available. Thanks for your patience and understanding.”
