To The Editor:
This is in response to Mary Luongo’s wonderful reminiscence, “A Walker in the City: Yesterday and Tomorrow,” in the September 6, 2020 edition of the Easton Courier. Having lived in both New York City (60+ years) and Easton (42 of those same years), her account struck all the right notes.
But I write to confirm that the city, indeed, “will open to become its lively old, new self [yet] again, there for the walkers to enjoy. And rediscover ….”
