My late husband and I moved to Easton in 1976 and immediately embraced the beauty of this town. It did not take long for us to get involved in various town organizations like Citizens for Easton, the Exchange Club, Charter Committee, Board of Finance, to name a few.

I continue to be a member of the Republican Town Committee, the Conservation Commission that I currently chair and I am also the secretary/director of the Aspetuck Cemetery Association.  As a certified moderator, I officiated several elections and budget votes.

As a Notary Signing Agent I oversee and facilitate mortgage closings and related activities.

A few weeks ago, Vincent Caprio, the Republican Registrar of Voters, resigned and I was approached to consider taking his spot on the ballot this November. I was honored to be asked and look forward to serving the town in this capacity.

Professionally, prior to retirement, I was a financial analyst specializing in equipment leasing and related activities at IBM. I am a New York University graduate and a proud naturalized citizen having entered this country legally.

Editors’ Note: Dori Wollen is on the ballot as the Republican candidate for Registrar of Voters.
