Adrienne Burke, Greiser’s Coffee and Market proprieter, made the difficult decision to go into “semi-hibernation for a bit.” Today she sent the following message to the Greiser’s mailing list:

Dear Greiser’s Friend,

Like you, we’ve been forced to make some difficult decisions about the holidays. This is a really tough one:

Effective this Saturday, December 12, Greiser’s will revert to our online ordering and curbside pickup model, and we will alter our hours to offer in-Easton deliveries during the day. We will be closed to in-store shopping until at least January 5.

In our short history as Greiser’s Coffee & Market, we’ve been delighted to break our own sales records each holiday season. This December is already on track to be our best yet. We are grateful and overjoyed to see our business growing.

Greiser’s Coffee & Market will hold its two remaining outdoor Tiny Holiday Markets on Sunday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We know, however, that a busy store is a problem right now. We’ve required masks and social distancing, and limited the number of people allowed in at a time. But these rules have become impossible for us to enforce. Meanwhile, we hear about beloved customers who have recently been hospitalized, and others who are now suffering the long-term after-effects of COVID-19 infection. We are anxious about protecting you, our families, and ourselves.

Though our door will be closed, our entire coffeebar, baked goods, and sandwich menu will still be available for online ordering, curbside pickup, and delivery in Easton. So will our wide selection of staples and specialty groceries, home goods, local crafts, and holiday gifts. (As Easton farms close for the winter, we will also bring back fresh produce.)

We even intend to host our own outdoor table at our two remaining Tiny Holiday Markets on Sunday December 13 and Sunday December 20 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Those events, featuring three talented local artisans each, will go on as scheduled. And we hope our outdoor Christmas music and decorations will put you in the spirit. (Our candy cane cacao latte is a good mood booster, too!)

Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook (click icons below) where we’ll share shoppable links to our market and menu items. Use our website, greisers.com, to place orders. And look for a QR code soon in front of the store that you can use to quickly order from our cafe menu.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support of our business. And from our families to yours, best wishes for a healthy and happy holiday season. We sure are looking forward to 2021!

Warmly,

Adrienne, Ryan, Sam, Sophia, Alice & Madigan
