Kevin Krug will be leaving the Easton Public Library for a job in accounting. He started as a page back in 2012 and has been the Face of the Library at the Circulation Desk for more than eight years. It’s a face well-recognized by Library patrons, who have asked for Kevin by name time after time.

He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and also received an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from Housatonic Community College.

“It’s been an honor working at the Easton Public Library, and it will be hard to say goodbye to my Library family and the Easton Community,” Kevin said. “The Library was my first job and I can’t believe I’ve been here for almost nine years. I will truly miss everyone.”

“Kevin dropped quite a bombshell when he announced that he was leaving!” said Lynn Zaffino, Library Director. “He’s been working at the Library for nine years, and he’s built relationships with all of our patrons. I know that everyone will be sad to see him go. We will miss him, but we wish him the best in his new endeavor.”

Kevin’s last day at the Library will be Tuesday, March 2.
