Jeffrey Berg’s artwork is on exhibit in the Easton Arts Council Virtual Youth Art Show.

March is Youth Art Month. The Easton Arts Council is proud to present its Annual Youth Art Show which is now available for viewing on our website at eastonartscouncil.org.

Griffin Ellis’s artwork is on exhibit in the Easton Arts Council Virtual Youth Art Show.

There are 64 entries this year from local towns including Easton, Redding, Fairfield, and Woodbury. As the show is online, we have participants from as far away as San Antonio, Texas; Kansas City, Mo., Wellesley Mass., and Boston Mass.

The artists range in age from six years old to 18 with an array of mediums including oil, inks, colored pencil and graphite, acrylic, ceramic, markers, and feathers as well as a number of digital art submissions.

Thanks to Kathy Davidson, show chairperson, Kit Briner, technical expert, and Lee Skalkos, former Easton resident and current art teacher in Woodbury who encouraged many students to submit artwork.

A central tenet of the Easton Arts Council’s mission statement is to encourage and support our youth in their artistic endeavors and to provide a venue for artistic expression.
