Mother’s Day Plant Sale Helps Ovarian Cancer Services

Noreen Forde of Easton has organized a special way to support women with ovarian cancer and to celebrate Mother’s Day.

COVID-19 has affected everyone in so many ways, and women facing cancer need support now more than ever. Forde urges friends and neighbors to consider a donation to The Clearity Foundation providing scientific and psychosocial support to women and their families.

For a minimum gift of $30 you will receive one hanging plant for that special mother you know. For a minimum of $50 you will receive two plants. Ivy Geranium and Trailing Petunia hanging baskets are offered.

Pick up will be on Saturday, May 8 at The Castle on Post, 222 Post Rd., Fairfield Conn. from 9 a.m. to noon.

Forde organized the sale as a way to give back to an organization that helped her through difficult days.
