Four Republicans and two Democrats currently comprise the BOF. This causes our town budgets to reflect what these four Republicans want rather than what the town wants.
You can help make the board better balanced by voting, Nov 2, for all three of our highly qualified Democratic candidates:
Art Laske, an attorney, has served on the Board with integrity and honesty for 22 years.
Ira Kaplan, an alternate on the Board, is an actuary with expert knowledge of financial matters.
Jackie Olschan Kaufman, also an alternate, is an attorney who will work to increase community engagement in the budgetary process.
