To the Editor:
I recently retired after 21 years as an Easton teacher and administrator. I’ve known both David Bindelglass and Jeffrey Parker, professionally and personally, for over 15 years.
We were fortunate that David was First Selectman during the pandemic. I admired his composure and integrity.
Jeff acknowledged his mistake in forwarding parent emails to Dana Benson, but I cannot excuse his collaboration with Benson. At this week’s Tri-Board Meeting I heard that Jeff failed to reach out to parents, as he had promised at the 10/12 BOE meeting.
I trust David’s integrity, transparency, and kindness, and heartily endorse David.
