Easton’s Jesse Lee United Methodist Church has released its schedule for Holy Week and invites all to attend.
The distribution of palms will take place during the Palm Sunday Service on April 10 at 10 a.m. Maundy Thursday Service including music and Holy Communion is April 14 at 7 p.m and Good Friday Service of music and readings is at noon on April 15. Easter Sunday service is on April 17 at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend and need not be church members.
New Pastor, Fern Blair Hart has started a weekly Prayer Hour every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom. Anyone is welcome to attend and need not stay the whole hour.
The church is also sponsoring a campaign to donate to Ukraine through United Methodists Committee on Relief or UMCOR. Through this organization, 100% of donations are used for relief. In honor of their commitment to Ukraine, church members have placed a Ukrainian flag and pinwheel sunflowers (the state flower of Ukraine) on the church property.
All of our services are also available to attend on Zoom. You need not be a church member to attend on Zoom or in person. Information on how to Zoom in is available on the website
