SUMMARY:65th Annual Mark Twain Library Book Fair
DESCRIPTION:One of the oldest\, largest and most organized book fairs in New England benefiting the library founded by Mark Twain – who moved to Redding in 1907. With more books than would fit in his new home\, Twain donated over one thousand titles to help start the library; and upon his death\, his daughter Clara donated more to build on his fledgling legacy in Redding. Today\, more than 100 years later\, the Book Fair is still one of the Library’s principal fundraisers and a mainstay each Labor Day Weekend for this quaint town.\nWHO:  ALL are welcome (FREE Admission)*\nWHAT: Over 60\,000 books (and more) for sale – 100% donated; sorted; no buyer restrictions – Book for ALL AGES – Adult\, Children\, YA – Plus Vinyl records\, CDs\, DVDs\, sheet music\, games & puzzles\nWHEN: Labor Day Weekend\, September 4  –  September 7\, 2026\nFriday: 9 am to 4 pm – Prices as marked *$20 “Early Buying” from 9-10am\nSaturday: 10 am to 4 pm – Prices as marked\nSunday: 10 am to 4 pm – Half price day\nMonday: 9 am to 4 pm — $10 for each box full of books (we provide box)\nWHERE: The Redding Community Center; 37 Lonetown Road (Route 107)\, Redding\, CT (behind Redding Elementary School).\nCredit cards accepted.
