Easton’s Planning and Zoning Chair Pleads Not Guilty to Misdemeanor and Felony Charges

Raymond Martin of Easton pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Bridgeport Superior Court to charges stemming from a Sept. 7 arrest by Stratford Police.

Martin, the chairman of the town’s Planning and Zoning Commission and a member of the Republican Town Committee, pleaded not guilty to falsely reporting the theft of a motor vehicle, giving a false statement, and tampering with physical evidence.

Martin’s case is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on March 22.
