The Easton Public Library will begin lending out laptop computers next week. Active cardholders who are at least 18 years of age will be able to borrow a laptop for up to two weeks. No renewals or holds are allowed. The borrower must sign a loan agreement and adhere to the Laptop Lending Policy, which is available on our website.
Laptops must be returned in person at the Easton Public Library Circulation Desk, not in the book drop. All components (case, charger, and mouse) must be returned as well.
“We are excited to offer this service to our patrons who may not have a computer at home,” said Library Director Lynn Zaffino. “Just as we began loaning out hot spots last year, this is an effort to bridge the digital divide.”
