Road Closure Update from Easton Police Department

Editor’s note: The Easton Police Department released the following update at 9 p.m.


The flash flood warning continues to be in effect until at least 10 p.m. There are several vehicles underwater and stuck on the roadways. Please stay off the roads! DO NOT go around barricades and caution tape, they are there for your safety.

The following roads are closed or flooded:

Valley/ Route 58
300 block of Staples Road
Silver Hill/ Honeysuckle
Silver Hill/ Staples
North Park/ Maple Road- Road collapsed in Redding.
Route 58/ Center Road
Deerfield Road
Rock House Road and Pinetree Road- Road Buckled
Route 59/Sherwood- High water
Judd/ Route 59- High Water
Sherwood Drive- High water

Again, please stay off the roads right now. Do not hesitate to call *911* if you feel you are in an emergency situation.
