Easton Lion’s Club Charity Golf Outing Set for Sept. 16

Easton Lion’s Club’s 19th Annual Golf Classic will be held on Sept. 16 at the Brownson Country Club at 15 Soundview, Huntington, CT. Proceeds from the event will be donated to charitable organizations focused on eye research and helping those with vision disabilities in memory of Easton resident Helen Keller, who was blind. The Lions also support the Easton Senior Center.

Here’s how you can help the club help the blind:

1. Play Golf-Scramble Format $994/foursome, $236/golfer, 11 a.m. lunch, noon tee off.
2. Donate something to be raffled (like a gift certificate).
3. Bid at the auction @ 5 p.m. $50 entrance fee for non-golfers.
4. Send a check made payable payable to The Easton Lions Club in care of Mike Kot, Treasurer, Easton Lions Club, 15 River Road, suite 235
Wilton, Ct. 06897.
5. Donate $250 and get a sign advertising your business placed on the course.
6. Donate $1,000, get a foursome, and your company sign posted on the course.

Non-golfers should arrive at 5 p.m. for the reception/open bar, where many great items will be auctioned off, including gift cards, a 60-inch TV, golf foursomes, golf lessons, golf clothing, and more.
