Easton’s Lady in White 5K and Free Spirit Festival Set for Oct. 26

The third annual Easton’s Lady in White 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26. Runners will dash along a beautiful course on North Park Avenue in Easton while viewing the fall foliage and learning historic facts along the way.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Christ Church parking lot at 59 Church Road. The race will take place rain or shine. On site, there will be various fall activities for kids and adults and a fun run and shuttle run for children 12 and under, so please bring the family. Costumes are encouraged. In addition to the 5K, Easton’s Park and Recreation office and the Easton Public Library has scheduled more spooky events. Park and Recreation and the Easton Art Center will a hold a brush tattoo session from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a Halloween pop up market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The library will hold a Halloween story time at 11 a.m. and a STEAM corner for kindergarten through fifth grade students a 1 p.m.

The Easton Art Council will be providing pumpkin painting and tattoos (stick-on) from 9a.m. to 12 p.m.
