Bakers, Drivers Needed for EMS Senior Bread Delivery Program

Easton Emergency Medical Service is inviting volunteers to join its Senior Bread Delivery Program, an annual tradition that brings holiday cheer to community members who may be spending the season alone.

Every year, Easton EMTs bake and deliver homemade breads to approximately 50 households. This year, they hope to expand their efforts and brighten the holidays for even more people.

Josh Meszaros of Easton EMS is seeking volunteers to bake and deliver breads. Popular choices include banana bread, cinnamon bread, cranberry orange bread, and cornbread.

“They can email me for information,” said Meszaros.

Additionally, Meszaros encourages residents to nominate individuals who would benefit from receiving a bread delivery. Deliveries will take place from Dec 7 through 10, and baked bread should be dropped off at Easton EMS at 448 Sport Hill Road by 3 p.m. on Dec. 6.

For more information, to volunteer, or to nominate a recipient, contact Josh Meszaros via email at Jmeszaros@eastonems.com.
