The Easton Arts Council invites the community to experience the tranquil beauty of nature through the eyes of artist Keith Magner in his solo exhibition, Seasons in Brushstrokes. The show runs from September 1 to Oct. 15 in the Small Gallery at the Easton Public Library, A public reception will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Magner’s oil paintings are a heartfelt tribute to the landscapes of Connecticut and Cape Cod, offering viewers a moment of quiet reflection and connection with the natural world. His work is rooted in a deep appreciation for light, mass, and atmosphere, all qualities he first explored through sculpture and now channels into his painting practice.
An avid outdoorsman, Magner embraces plein air painting to preserve fleeting moments of serenity. Each canvas is a meditation on the changing seasons, coastal vistas, and the timeless charm of New England. “With each brushstroke,” he says, “I unplug from the noise of modern life and immerse myself in the serenity of the outdoors.”
His goal is to offer viewers a refreshing and rejuvenating experience, one that mirrors the peace he finds while creating. “Escape into these scenes and share in this rejuvenating experience with me,” Magner invites.
Whether you’re a seasoned art lover or simply seeking a moment of calm, Seasons in Brushstrokes promises to be a soul-soothing journey through nature’s palette.
