Easton Participates in Passport to CT Libraries

The Easton Public Library is again participating in the statewide Passport to Connecticut Libraries program, an initiative designed to encourage residents to visit and explore libraries across Connecticut.

Now through April 30 participating libraries will distribute passport booklets , which visitors can have stamped at each location and may receive small giveaways, such as pencils or magnets.

The Connecticut Library Association will award six $200 gift cards through a raffle, with prizes designated for both adults and children. A new category has been added this year for participants who visit at least 25 libraries.

To be eligible for a raffle prize, participants must visit a minimum of five libraries.

“There are 171 libraries participating this year, so get out there and discover the wonder of Connecticut libraries,” said Lynn Zaffino, director of the Easton Public Library.

Passports are available at the library for those interested in participating.
