The Town Clerk’s Office is reminding residents that all dogs age 6 months and older living in Connecticut must have a current dog license.
Dog licenses must be renewed by June 30 to avoid late fees. A current rabies vaccination is required before a license can be issued or renewed.
Residents with a current 2025 dog license may renew online beginning June 1 through the town’s online licensing portal.
Licenses may also be renewed by mail. Dog owners should send a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check payable to the Town of Easton to: Town Clerk’s Office, 225 Center Road, Easton, CT 06612
The licensing fee is $8 for spayed or neutered dogs and $19 for unaltered dogs.
Licenses may also be obtained in person at the Town Clerk’s Office. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Additional information is available on the town’s dog licensing page at Town of Easton Dog Licenses.
