The annual celebration, now in its fifth year, will begin at 1 p.m. with a Pride Flag raising ceremony at Easton Town Hall. Following the flag raising a series of festivities will continue across the street at the Easton Public Library. At 1:45 p.m. there will be a Storytime on the library lawn. From 1 to 3 p.m. a series of Pride celebrations with ice cream, games, music, crafts, and fun will take place on the library lawn and back patio.

Event goers can attend the Visions of Pride art exhibition opening reception in the library community room. Earlier this month, Easton Pride hosted a community-wide art project that invited artists of all ages to conceptualize what inclusivity and diversity look like. The art project was sponsored by the Easton Arts Center, Connecticut Office of the Arts, Sara Hunsucker Studio, and the Easton Arts Council. The exhibit runs until June 29.

Then from 3:15 to approximately 3:50 p.m. there will be a screening of the short film Gay Youth in the library community room, sponsored by the Library.

Lawn signs and Pride swag will be on hand during the day. Official shirts can be purchased here.
