Joel Barlow High School will host its 10th St. Baldrick’s event on Monday, March 18, raising more than $150,000 to fight childhood cancers in the process.
St. Baldrick’s coordinates its signature head-shaving events worldwide where participants collect pledges to shave their heads in solidarity with kids fighting cancer while also raising money to fund critical research.
We need your help!
- We need students, parents and community members to sign-up to shave their heads. We have teams from Barlow and Helen Keller Middle School joining us this year as well as representatives from local police and fire departments. BUT WE STILL NEED SHAVEES. We would love to see greater community involvement.
- Can’t join us but would like to support? Please make a donation in any amount to give kids the long, healthy lives they deserve. You’ll be giving hope to thousands of kids diagnosed with cancer every day — from babies and toddlers to children, teens and young adults.
Please visit the St. Baldrick’s website and our event homepage to sign up or donate at: https://www.stbaldricks.org/events/JBHS2024. Questions? Contact Chris Angell at cangell@er9.org.
