Two captivating exhibits on display at the Easton Public Library spotlight the work of talented Fairfield County artists. The Winter Arts Celebration runs through March 1 in the Community Room Gallery. A reception will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. to introduce the artists and their contributions. In the Small Gallery, visitors can explore Pouring Wonders, an exhibit by Nicole Traver, on display until Feb. 15. Traver’s work is known for its vibrant colors and dynamic compositions, offering a unique visual experience.

Additionally, the library is honored to present Turning Wood Into Art: The Woodwork of Steven Holm-Hansen in the display case. Steven a skilled woodturner based in Easton, showcases his exceptional craftsmanship. His artistry is deeply rooted in an appreciation for the natural beauty of wood, with each piece carefully selected to highlight unique grains and textures. Steven’s approach to woodworking is both traditional and innovative. He combines time-honored techniques with modern tools to create pieces that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Each item is meticulously crafted, reflecting his dedication to quality and passion for the craft.
