The Liquid Theatre Collective in partnership with the Easton Public Library will host an exclusive sneak peek of “MARIAN,” an original Broadway-bound musical based on the life of world-renowned opera singer Marian Anderson.

The event will take place in the community room of the Easton Public Library on Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m., offering audiences a first look screening of this inspiring and timely production.

MARIAN follows the extraordinary journey of Marian Anderson, from her humble beginnings in Philadelphia to becoming an internationally acclaimed opera singer. The musical highlights her perseverance through the challenges of Jim Crow-era America, culminating in her historic, racially integrated concert at the Lincoln Memorial — an event that changed the course of American history.

Following the screening, producers Randy Donaldson and Claire Wilkes of Liquid Theatre Collective will provide insights into the development of this groundbreaking work. The audience will have the unique opportunity to hear firsthand about the creative process behind “MARIAN.”
