Easton’s Annual Town Meeting will take place on Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at Samuel Staples Elementary School, located at 515 Morehouse Road.
The following agenda has been posted to Town of Easton Website:
1. Election of moderator.
2. Discussion of the proposed Annual Town Budget of $51,290,542 for fiscal year 2025-2026 as recommended by the Board of Finance.

b. Presentation by Board of Education
c. Presentation by Region 9 Board of Education
3. Acceptance of the Five-Year Capital Plan Project.
4. Set July 1, 2025, and January 1, 2026, for the 2024 Grand List bills.
5. Shall the town adopt the modified Planning and Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 147, which creates an elected P&Z Commission?
6. Shall the town adopt a new ordinance declaring Easton Town Hall a local historic property?
7. Adjournment of the town meeting to a machine vote to be held on May 6, 2025, at Samuel Staples Elementary School, 515 Morehouse Road, from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm to vote on items 2, 5 and 6, the Annual Town Budget, Planning and Zoning Ordinance and the local historic property.
