The Joel Barlow High School class of 2025 commencement ceremony took place June 12 on the school’s campus in Redding under clear skies.
Dr. Mario J. Almeida, head of school; Damcon Kellogg and J.T. Schemm, assistant principals, Michael Santangeli, administrator for athletics and Catherine Hilser, director of school counseling led the ceremony which saw 183 Easton and Redding seniors graduate.
The class of 2025 officers walked together to the ceremony. They are Grace Blawie, president; Sophie Peterson, vice president; Lindsay Pasierb, treasurer; and Dillon Bargagna, secretary.
Superintendent Dr. Jason McKinnon addressed the graduates and families who gathered to support them. Commencement addresses were given by Sage Oliver and Lauren Klein Wassink.
