Christ Church in Easton will hold its annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9:30 a.m., inviting families to bring pets of all kinds from dogs and cats to birds and rabbits to receive a blessing.
The tradition, held in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the natural world, celebrates the deep bond between people and their pets and acknowledges the role all living creatures play in God’s creation.

It’s both a spiritual and community event that highlights love, respect, and care for all of God’s creatures.
Other Fairfield County churches will also hold blessings on Oct. 5:
