The Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport will host a community sing titled “Songs of Spirit and Freedom: Drawing Strength Together Through Music” at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.

The event is open to the public and will feature music led by Bethany Yarrow, daughter of Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary, along with Francine Wheeler and Gordon Titcomb.

Admission is free with donations accepted to support social justice efforts in Connecticut and Minnesota.

The gathering will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport located at 10 Lyons Plains Road. Free parking is available, and the building is handicap accessible.

Organizers say the community sing is intended to bring people together through music during challenging times, offering space to share grief and vulnerability while emphasizing solidarity, strength, courage, resistance and purpose.
