Connecticut State Senator and author, Will Haskell will join us virtually to discuss his first book 100,000 First Bosses: My Unlikely Path as a 22-Year-Old Lawmaker. His book tells the underdog story of how the twenty-two year old came to be a Democratic state Senator in 2018 –taking on an incumbent who had been undefeated for Haskell’s entire life and earning an endorsement from President Obama—and is determined to pave the way for his peers to transform government from the bottom up. During the evening Senator Haskell will be in conversation with Joel Barlow Senior Class President Ben Fligelman to discuss his book, his journey and the potential for this young generation in politics.
