Join us virtually for this unique opportunity to meet award-winning director and producer, Cindy Meehl of Redding and gain personal insight into her documentaries. Over the course of several months, we will view three of Cindy’s documentaries on our own time, then meet virtually to discuss them with her and a special guest involved in each of her films. This month watch The Dog Doc on your own time, available to view free on Hoopla and on Amazon Prime. Then we’ll gather on Zoom for discussion and Q&A with Cindy and Dr. Marty Goldstein, the main character in the documentary.

In the documentary, The Dog Doc Cindy Meehl goes behind the scenes to capture maverick integrative medicine veterinarian, Marty Goldstein, and his dedicated team. Goldstein’s practice attracts four-legged patients from around the country, providing holistic treatments for animals after other vets have given up hope. Dr. Marty’s deeply empathetic philosophy offers a vital example of how improving overall health rather than merely treating disease is transformative for all living things. The Dog Doc premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2019.
