Easton Garden Club’s Garden Mart Plant Sale: Rain or Shine!

The Easton Garden Club is pleased to be offering its wonderful Garden Mart Plant Sale on Saturday May 10 at the Fireman’s Green, 1 Center Street, from 9AM – 12:30 PM. Perfect for Mother’s Day shoppers, and for all who want to enhance their outdoor spaces with beautiful and natural colors and flavors.

This plant sale features perennials, Gilbertie’s organic culinary herbs, annuals, hanging baskets, and more.  It’s always a great rite of spring for fellow Eastonites and our neighbors and plant enthusiasts. Members of the Garden Club are pleased to share from their own gardens to make them available to others. In this way buyers know the plants will flourish in our southern CT soil and conditions. Conservationists and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice.

Plants are priced to be reasonable.  And a warning: the sale is always busy! Discerning shoppers are encouraged to get to the Green early for maximum choices. The “gates” open at 9AM and no earlier.  And please note, cash or check only, and, too, it will be offered rain or shine.

This includes scholarships, beautifications around town, and monthly educational lectures and meetings. Since 1938 the club has been a vibrant part of our small town community, and we always have a good time among fellow gardeners and nature lovers.
