Poetry Workshop Series: Social Justice & Activism (Grades 5-8)

Calling all poets and poetry lovers! The Mark Twain Library is hosting a series of poetry seminars for middle schoolers. During these seminars, we will discuss the intersection of poetry and activism, read the works of trailblazing poets, understand helpful tools for writing and reciting poetry, as well as carve out time for students to craft their own poems. No prior experience is required to attend these workshops, and you can attend just one workshop or multiple workshops. Please register for each workshop that you plan to attend.
