Easton Planning, in coordination with the Connecticut Metropolitan Council of Governments (METROCOG) and the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG), held a design charette focusing on pedestrian and bicyclist safety on Sport Hill Road from Heller Keller Middle School to about a 1/4 mile north of Silverman’s Farm.
The event was open to the public for participation on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019. Residents were invited to share their thoughts on safety issues and ways to improve the area. Additionally, a survey was made available and garnered over 400 responses.
The final concept plan, presentation, focus group notes, and survey results are now available on the Town of Easton website at https://www.eastonct.gov/land-use/pages/easton-design-charette-information.
