I would like to thank all the residents and Library Board members who wrote letters and attended last night’s Board of Finance Budget Hearing to protest the proposed budget cuts to the Library.
In the end, the Board voted on a $34,100 cut to the Library budget, which is a far cry from the $90,000 cut that was originally proposed. I would also like to acknowledge Board of Finance members Paul Lindoerfer, Arthur Laske, Devon Wible, Tara Donnelly Gottlieb, and Gregg Saunders for their positive and supportive comments regarding the Library.
