In the midst of this world pandemic, we have been asked to socially distance ourselves. For many churches, this meant moving worship to an online format and cancelling in person worship at least until the fall.

For many this has meant no religious guidance in a time of great need. I argue that this is a time where we need our church communities even more. Just because we are socially distanced this doesn’t mean we don’t have church, spiritual guidance, and community.

All of these are still available to all people who are seeking support. Our church, the Congregational Church of Easton, is still meeting online, and each week you can get the link to worship through our church website at www.eastonchurch.org or you may join us for in-person worship at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

However, in person worship does require calling the church office at 203-261-2527 for reservations as our allowed seating in limited. There are also safety precautions that are necessary to joining us. The church office can inform anyone interested in attending when reservations are made.

We are also keeping ourselves busy with a church family and friends cookbook. And we would like to share some of the fun recipes that will appear in this book each week. This week’s recipe is:
