The Easton Public Library is now offering a new alternative for one or two people to work, study, meet, or participate in a conference call. The Library’s Decibel® Double Booth, which was installed last week, is situated in what was formerly the Innovation Space, which was forced to shut down when the pandemic hit.
“It’s a perfect spot for the booth,” said Lynn Zaffino, Library Director. “It is tucked away in its own alcove and not right in the middle of the Library. I can see this booth getting lots of use.” The booth was purchased with grant funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), which is also funding improved/increased Wifi access and new outdoor furniture.
Patrons who wish to use the booth can reserve it the same way that the other meeting rooms are reserved — through email, by calling, or in person. It will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. No food or drink will be allowed in the booth.
