Neighborhood alerts recorded a series of car break-ins in town. Vehicles were entered in the overnight hours on April 24 and 25 in the area south of Center Road down to the Merritt Parkway. One vehicle owner reported that “two young men took the car and credit cards.”

Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle said, “Six unlocked vehicles were entered and various items of personal property were taken. One unlocked vehicle was stolen with the car keys in it.”

Doyle regularly reminds residents that such incidents are preventable if vehicles are locked and valuables are not kept inside.
