Just in time for summer, the Easton Public Library has added a selection of outdoor games to its “Library of Things” collection. Thanks to generous funding from the Friends of the Library, patrons can now check out cornhole, Spikeball, bocce, croquet, and various other lawn game sets.
“I am so excited about adding these items to our collection,” said Library Director Lynn Zaffino. “I can’t wait to see our patrons check these out for parties or just for fun times with family and friends. I am so grateful to the Friends of the Library for funding this initiative.”
Other items in the “Library of Things” include board games, jigsaw puzzles and novelty cake pans. The Library has been loaning out these items for about a year and the feedback from the Easton community has been overwhelming positive, Zaffino said.
