Once again, the Easton Public Library is sponsoring its Summer Reading Program for adults. Each book read can be logged on a Google form on the Library’s website, and the person with the most entries each week will win a prize. There will also be a prize at the end of the summer for the person who reads the most books. The Summer Reading Program is in effect now through August 16.

The Library is also hosting several special programs for adults this summer. Join us for Paint Night on the Patio on Friday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. Picasso Parties will be returning to guide us through the painting of a summer scene. Have fun and get as creative as you’d like!

Back by popular demand, the Library will bring back Club Kung Fu for another Women’s Self-Defense Class on Saturday, August 3 from 1:30 -3 p.m. This important and informative program is open to women and teen girls aged 16 and up.

Finally, on Wednesday, August 21, at 7 p.m., a representative from the Center for Family Justice will be at the Library to facilitate a discussion of “The Lighthouse Effect: How Ordinary People Can Have an Extraordinary Impact in the World by Steve Pemberton.” The Library has two copies of this title for circulation, and we can borrow copies from other libraries as well, to ensure that people have an opportunity to read the book before the discussion.
