The polls are open today, Tuesday, May 6, from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. for a town-wide referendum vote at Samuel Staples Elementary School,  515 Morehouse Road.

The following four questions are on the ballot:

1. Shall the Town of Easton appropriate the sum of $51,290,542 for the annual budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2025 to June, 30 2026? (This includes Easton’s share of the Region No. 9 budget.)

2. Shall Regional School District No. 9, composed of the Towns of Easton and Redding, appropriate and authorize the expenditure of $26,489,155 as the operating budget of the district for the period of July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026? (Easton’s share is $14,030,435 and Redding’s share is $12,458,720.)

3. Shall the Town adopt the modified Planning and Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 147, which creates an elected P&Z Commission?

4. Shall the Town adopt a new Ordinance declaring Easton Town Hall a local Historic Property?
