Ukraine Aid International just received word last week from its ground team that the communities on the frontlines are in need of manual tools — shovels, rakes, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.— for hospitals, fire departments and citizens, to remove rubble and clear out debris from strikes.

If you have any such items you’re willing to donate, the Easton Fire Department has offered to be the town’s tool drop-off location. Here’s an opportunity to clean out your garage and donate duplicate items you may have.

The towns of Westport and Weston are joining Easton in this manual tool collection drive.  Ukraine Aid International is already looking into shipment options and logistics to deliver tools to where they are needed most.

The collection began July 2 and runs through July 19.

To defray shipping expenses, consider making a donation.  Please do not check Sviatohirsk in the destination drop down menu.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.
