Each December, the Easton Medical Service Agency runs its Senior Bread Delivery program, a holiday effort to remind local seniors that the community cares.

Josh Mesz of Easton EMS is seeking volunteers to bake and deliver breads.

This year, the list has grown to nearly 100 seniors, and Easton EMS is seeking volunteer bakers. Volunteers are asked to provide five small nut-free breads. Popular varieties include banana, corn, orange-cranberry, cinnamon and chocolate.

Finished breads may be dropped off at Easton EMS Headquarters, 659 Sport Hill Road, on Friday, Dec. 19. Volunteers will package the breads and deliver them to seniors throughout town.
