The Easton Police Department is reminding residents and business owners that all alarm systems must be registered with the department in accordance with the town’s alarm ordinance.
Under Chapter 226 of the Easton Alarm Ordinance, all residential and commercial properties using alarm systems are required to register their alarms with the Easton Police Department. Alarm registration forms are available at police headquarters and online through the town website.
The fee for a new alarm registration is $25. Annual alarm renewals for the July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, registration period are $20 and are due by July 1.
Payments may be made by cash or check and submitted by mail or in person at the Easton Police Department.
