Concerts on the Hill will launch its summer concert series with its fifth annual Juneteenth celebration on Sunday, June 21, featuring indie-soul artist Christine Chanel.
The event is co-hosted by the Easton Diversity and Inclusion Task Force and is sponsored by Tidewater Electronics Inc., Hi-Ho Energy Services, Nick D’Addario and the D’Addario family, and Christ Church Nursery School.
Chanel, a Westchester County, New York-based recording artist, is known for her powerful vocals, emotionally driven lyrics and genre-spanning sound that blends rhythm and blues, reggae, rock and funk. Performing with her backing band, Chanel has built a reputation for energetic live performances and for supporting emerging artists through musical collaborations.
Food will be available from Khemi’s Vegan Cuisine food truck. Beer from Nod Hill Brewery, along with wine, nonalcoholic beverages, snacks and ice cream bars, will be available for purchase. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own picnic and beverages.
The concert will be held at 59 Church Road in Easton. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with music scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.
Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors. Children are admitted free. Leashed dogs are welcome.
