Library Giving Day on Wed April 3

This Wednesday, April 3, library lovers across the country are participating in an annual fundraising effort to support their local libraries. This is the fourth year Eastonites have supported our library in similar fashion, thanks to the Friends of the Easton Library organizing the effort. Donations in the past have gone to supporting the purchasing of new books, museum passes, the summer reading program, One Book One Town reading, pizza at exam time for JBHS students, mobile hot spots, electronic “real aloud” books for youngsters — even a major patio restoration.

All gifts are tax-deductible. Contributions can be made on Wednesday by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/EastonLibgiving. Checks or cash can be dropped off at the library or mailed to the Friends c/o the Library at 691 Morehouse Road, Easton, CT 06612.

PLUS This year generous donors will give an additional $1500 to the proceeds if we raise $5000, and/or have 60 donors participating. It’s all good! Let your neighbors know!
