Covid-19 has taken an incredible toll on Connecticut’s older residents. Tune in to receive a status report on the issues being addressed and a forecast for what will improve going forward given the current statistical trend of infection inside and outside of these long term care facilities.

“Being a notably at-risk population, these vulnerable residents have been incredibly isolated from family, friends and public in general. To make matters worse, nursing homes have become a dangerous and deadly environment due to the fast and wide spreading impact of the virus and reinforced a sense of urgency toward finding solutions, ” Hwang stated in a press release promoting today’s meeting.
