Easton Police issued a press release in connection with the arrest of an Adams Road man for multiple sexual abuse charges.
The Easton Police Department received a call from Yale-New Haven Hospital on July 1, reporting they had admitted two victims who evidenced signs of sexual abuse and trauma.
The victims were interviewed on July 9 with the assistance of The Family Justice Center in Bridgeport. Based on the information they obtained, a search warrant and an arrest warrant were prepared and reviewed by prosecutors and a judge from Bridgeport Superior Court. Both warrants were issued.
Easton police officers and members of the Technical Investigations Unit-Southwest CT responded to an Adams Road residence to execute the warrants.
Robert McGuire, 40, was located and taken into custody. A search of the residence was conducted and a large quantity of evidence was recovered, as well as 12 firearms and a substantial amount of ammunition. The Technical Investigation Unit is currently examining the evidence.
McGuire is being held on a $500,00 bail bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on July 13.
Investigators from Darien, Weston, Westport, Wilton and the Geographical Area No.1 (Stamford) Inspectors Office assisted in the investigation.

53-21(2) Illegal Sexual Contact — 2 Counts
53-21(1) Risk of Injury to a Minor
These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
