Update: Jeff Klein, who will be presenting tonight’s movie, said he spoke with someone who has done several drive-in events in the past and they gave him some helpful tips
“Some cars shut off automatically after 10 or 15 minutes if the engine is not running and will need to be reset, so if people don’t plan on running their car, they should consider bringing a portable FM radio,” Klein said.
The best frequency is 97.3 FM. He will also project the frequency on the screen before the movie.
The Easton 175th team has been hard at work planning lots of fun and interesting activities for the upcoming months.
The first event, E.T. (The Extra Terrestrial), will be arriving at the big screen at the Samuel Staples Elementary School parking lot this evening, July 17.
The parking lot will open at 8 p.m., movie starts at 8.45 p.m. Admittance will be first come, first served, with room for 60 to 65 cars.
Donations (cash or check only) are welcome and will go to the United Way.
